Manufacturers bear ultimate responsibility for safety, but shared accountability strengthens outcomes. When Eshai corrected its formaldehyde finish after third-party detection, it modeled industry best practice. When retailers decline to stock noncompliant lots, they reinforce market incentives for excellence. And when parents inspect seams and rinse bath toys, they activate the final, vital layer of protection.

Real-world safety isn’t achieved through certification alone—it emerges from the intersection of rigorous testing, transparent reporting, responsive redesign, and engaged caregiving. Eshai’s trajectory suggests it understands this interdependence. Continued monitoring will determine whether its improvements become systemic—or merely episodic.
